Counselor and Case Manager
Vanessa Hernandez, MAC, SUDRC
Vanessa is a Spanish bilingual addiction counselor with extensive experience in substance use disorder treatment and recovery support. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling, with a specialty in Addiction, from the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School. Vanessa has worked with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor and has also worked in the Family and Children’s Program, helping loved ones navigate their own healing alongside the individual in treatment.
Additionally, she has gained valuable experience in the mental health and education fields, working with families and youth affected by substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, ABA therapy needs, and as a teacher.
Vanessa’s goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to share their story and to empower individuals and families with the understanding, tools, and hope they need to achieve a fulfilling recovery.
