What is detox at SolutionPoint?
Detox is the medically supervised process of safely removing drugs or alcohol from your body so it can rebalance its natural chemistry. It is the first step toward recovery, with monitoring, comfort, and care provided as your system stabilizes.
Why is medically supervised detox important?
Medically supervised detox is essential because some substances, like alcohol or benzodiazepines, can trigger seizures or life-threatening complications when stopped abruptly. We manage withdrawal symptoms with safety, dignity, and comfort throughout the process.
What should I expect during detox here?
You will have your own private room and be monitored 24/7 by our clinical team, which includes our medical director, nurse practitioner, licensed nurses, and trained technicians. We prescribe comfort medications when clinically appropriate, alongside hydration, nutrition, and movement.
What comes after detox?
After detox, we help clients move into stabilization, assessment, therapy, and recovery planning. Clients may meet with licensed therapists, counselors, case managers, and a psychiatrist to map a personalized treatment plan.
What is an addiction assessment?
An addiction assessment is the first step toward clarity in your care. We use evidence-based tools to determine whether a substance use disorder exists and how severe it is, forming the foundation of your personalized treatment plan.
Why does the assessment matter for my treatment?
The assessment helps us build a plan rooted in your unique needs. It identifies co-occurring conditions like PTSD, bipolar disorder, or depression that often play a significant role in relapse, so we can address the full picture, not just the addiction.
What outpatient addiction programs do you offer?
We offer Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) options, including day and evening schedules. These programs provide high-level clinical support for substance use recovery without requiring a residential stay.
What is PHP for addiction treatment?
Our Partial Hospitalization Program offers 6-hours of group and individual therapy, five days per week. Our non-residential PHP program is designed to support, and build upon, the process of recovery initiated in the residential program.
What is IOP and who is it best for?
Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers 4 hours of structured therapy 3 -4 days per week, while living at home. IOP provides flexibility in addressing work and family responsibilities, while strengthening the foundation for sustained recovery.
Do you offer evening IOP sessions?
Yes. We offer evening IOP Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., so you can receive consistent support while continuing work, school, or daily responsibilities.
What mental health services do you offer?
We offer outpatient mental health treatment for adults, including PHP and IOP with daytime programs, plus psychiatric oversight and therapy-based care. We focus on mood and personality disorders with individualized, targeted support.
What conditions do you treat?
We provide outpatient mental health care for adults experiencing a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, PTSD and trauma, and dual diagnosis. Our program is especially suited for people who may be highly functioning on the outside but feel emotionally overwhelmed or stuck in patterns they cannot fully identify.
What is dual diagnosis treatment?
Dual diagnosis treatment addresses substance use and a co-occurring mental health condition together. With licensed clinicians and medical support, we treat both needs at the same time while exploring underlying issues such as trauma, disconnection, or emotional pain.
Why treat addiction and mental health together?
Addiction and mental health concerns often reinforce one another, so treating only one may not lead to lasting recovery. We address both from the beginning to support genuine stability, not just short-term symptom relief.
What is medication management at SolutionPoint?
Medication management is a specifically tailored, collaborative process, to ensure treatment is safe and effective. It often includes psychiatric evaluations, ongoing monitoring, and medication adjustments as indicated.
What happens during medication management sessions?
Your sessions may include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, a review of your medical and mental health history, regular follow-up appointments, education on each medication, and coordination with your therapists. We see medication as one tool within your broader plan.
What is individual therapy?
Individual therapy is a one-on-one process with a trained clinician in a safe, confidential space. We use evidence-based approaches to help you process experiences, identify patterns, and build new ways of responding to challenges.
What is group therapy and how does it help?
Group therapy is led by licensed clinicians and creates a supportive space to share experiences and learn from peers. It helps build confidence, empathy, and resilience through guided discussions, skill-building, and practicing healthy relationship dynamics.
What is trauma-informed therapy?
Trauma-informed therapy recognizes how past experiences affect emotions, behaviors, and the body. Instead of asking what is wrong with you, it asks what happened to you, creating safety and trust to process the past and build tools for stability.
What is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)?
CBT is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps you recognize unhelpful thought patterns, manage difficult emotions, and change behaviors that may be holding you back. It can support people experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or emotional overwhelm.
What is your aftercare program?
Aftercare is ongoing support that supports your transition safely back into daily life after detox, stabilization, and assessment. It provides structure and guidance to maintain sobriety, build a sober support network, and continue healing over time.
